People often ask me if this portfolio career thing is possible. If it’s viable. If it’s sustainable.

They ask me how I started and where I’m going. They want to who I work with, what I do and how I make money. They’re curious to understand how I consistently put myself out there online and generate opportunities that seem out of reach.

People often wonder if it’s possible for them, and perhaps you’re wondering that too. Wondering if you can build a career that sits at the intersection of freedom, creativity, meaning and money. If you too, can generate clients, earn income, and work on projects and creative passions that today feel slightly beyond your grasp.

I tell them (and I’m telling you) that it’s possible, but not easy. Achievable, as long as you have solid support and people to guide you as you stumble and fall.

You must learn how to structure client deals, negotiate your rates, actively leverage one project to get to the next, productise your knowledge, build a tech stack, cement your reputation, show up online, nurture your network, move through the fear and stay grounded while reaching for the stars. You must be willing to test and try and experiment and fail and persist and quit and walk away one day and walk forward the next. You must weave your own safety net of friends, mentors, coaches, advisors, cheerleaders, supporters and devils’ advocates, and continue making moves even when it’s hard. Even when you feel lost. Even though you’re not sure.

For me, it’s been 18 months of rapidly growing my portfolio career, 5+ years of working for myself, a decade of launching and scaling consumer, tech and media brands globally, and 1 lifetime to arrive here today. On the other side of these lessons. With battle scars, with knowledge, with skills and conviction. And a passion to help you do the same.

Today, I’m (nervously) excited to launch my personalised Portfolio Career Mentoring for anyone wanting to turn their knowledge and interests into income and impact. Through one-to-one sessions, I’ll help you connect the dots between your strengths, skills, experience and passions to create a life and career that you love.

I’ll help you get clear, show up, build presence, negotiate rates, land work, win deals, bank money, deliver strongly, have impact, see around corners, save time and feel confident in your decision to go after a life you always wanted for yourself but never believed was within reach.
