Loved this line: "That having an open calendar and a full bank account won’t stop me from feeling bankrupt. That my rich life isn’t about collecting coins and saving seconds, it’s about spending them in the most meaningful ways I can." So powerful.
The YouTubers teach you how to become financially free, but then what? Great essay. You got yourself a new subscriber! I also created (and sold) a business and now trying to find meaning. The money didn’t equal happiness. Shocker!
Hahaha, you're not wrong!! I think a lot of people don't ask the 'then what?' question...which is by far the most important one. So glad you enjoyed the essay, can't wait to check your Substack out too!

Thanks Jeremy :)
From my experience…
When I didn’t have money, I thought money was highest form of wealth.
When I had money, I thought freedom was the highest form of wealth.
When I had freedom, I realized meaning is the highest form of wealth.
“It came in the form of the kick I got from the daily writing prompts I’d programmed ChatGPT to create.” I’d love to know more about how you did this!
