Like so many others have said, really needed to hear this today. Even though I'm aware of this as a barrier and have done so much work to move through it, it still feels hard. Am endlessly curious about this. Thanks Anna!

You are so right. I think most people would resonate with this beautifully written, (as always!), reflection. You seem to have a great knack of combining relatable wisdom with the practical nudge we all need to take action.

Love this and so beautifully written. It’s a mindset shift and I 100% agree. You need to live the life you want today itself and day by day you will get there. Appreciate it!

How did you (and have you indeed done so) figure out what your life’s work was meant to be?

Honestly it's been a journey. I've tried lots of different things (different types of jobs, starting a business, closing a business etc.) and over the last 5 or so years I've become incredibly introspective and done a huge amount of work on myself. Part of that introspection was establishing a really strong morning pages/journalling practice, and through that process I realised that actually, my life's work is to write and help people build more fulfilling lives for themselves. That, and a lot of therapy 😂

I’ve sort of figured out that the journey is pretty much what matters most. Whatever you can do to build self awareness over time, which also evolves, makes a big difference. Experimentation is key to evolution. What you may find is that what you think your life’s work is today will be something else a few years from now. I’m on my fifth or sixth major pivot. There were lots of smaller tweaks along the way. Still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. And I’m 72. Not sure it ever ends. Nor should it.

Love this! A random question, was that digital or paper and pen and how long for each day? Attempting to fit mine in!

Digital, always. I use Notion! And I started out by writing 30 mins each day 😊
