Super empowering, Anna! I feel, particularly as women, we doubt ourselves and want to be *absolutely certain* we can fulfil something to 100% before we start, but that just isn't realistic. Also love the Out There / Right Here visual - going to take that one with me.

We do doubt ourselves don't we! I don't know if that ever fully goes away? But it's about pushing through, and quietening it over time.

Really good advice, thank you for sharing it.

Many people are afraid of failure, false hope or disappointment; so they never try anything new.

But in the end, not trying is just guaranteed failure.

You’re speaking to me, Anna! Have had things bouncing around my brain for years but fear of not being interesting enough, qualified or even relevant kept me for even taking the first step (or word I should say 😂)

I like your “out there/right here” definitely going to start pushing through and take my advice I’m always giving to others!

It’s so much easier to give other people advice than it is to take the same advice on board for ourselves. I hope I’ve given you the little shove you needed 🙃

Absolutely! Turning that self doubt into FOMO for myself, productive gaslighting I guess 😂

"I’ve realised that Out There is actually Right Here." - YES.

Yes to all of this! Loved reading this Anna, I've just subscribed 🧡

Thank you 🥹

The way you framed Out There as actually Right Here really shifted something for me. It’s easy to believe that confidence or credibility is something external we have to earn first, but your Learn-Do-Teach framework makes it feel more approachable, like a ladder anyone can start climbing.

I hope it helps x

Very good advice!

I’m still hung up on feeling like I’m learning nothing, even if I know that’s not entirely true!

Anna Mackenzie's avatar

You are absolutely learning through the process of doing, trust me. It will all become clear ❤️

Landed on this today. What I love here is how you turned “Out There” into “Right Here.” Most of us spend years waiting for permission, as if there’s a gatekeeper guarding the door to expression. But the real hurdle is simply believing that what we already carry is enough to be shared.

As someone who also wanted to die from posting herself online, these ideas are great!

Anna Mackenzie's avatar

Glad it helped 😍

It took me way too many years to get serious and actually write something online.

As soon as I started, I felt great for taking a risk, but then when I started getting into a rhythm, I was subjected to a stalking/hacking campaign by some envious people and had to start again!

You will know far better than me, that it usually doesn't seem so at the time, but when you receive criticism and negativity for showing up online and 'confronting' others with your skills/experiences it is a very good sign that you are on the right path to offering value.

Thank you, Anna for reinforcing that we have to keep putting ourselves out there!

Anna Mackenzie's avatar

I'm so sorry that happened to you, but I love that you turned it around and took it as a signal you were on the right path ❤️

This is great and super inspiring! Can I ask - what app do you use to create your online content?

Anna Mackenzie's avatar

Thank you! What do you mean by an app? Are you talking about creating video content?
