I think sales is one of the biggest blind spots for people, especially in the early years of moving out of full time employment into working for themselves. Happy to share more!
Hi Anna, I relatively new on this Stack and so far it's really been useful to me. I'm in the early stages of flying solo and it's good to be able to rely on people who have been there before. The only fun fact about this one is I've been lucky enough to get through the last 25 years without needing to date at all thanks to a steady relationship, but I can still understand the parallel. I'm sure I would be completely lost if I had to start again in the swipe left-swipe right reality!
I will definitely inspire myself from your tailored pitch.
I'd be keen to contribute to the early review of your sales discovery calls.
Yesss this is so relatable! My foray into fractional / project-based work came right after a few years of active dating (was new to the dating scene after one very long relationship) and the parallels were REAL!
Great post, Anna! The 3-6 month sales cycle is real! Sometimes it’s even longer. It’s can be tough to balance the nurturing and you have some good, actionable tips.
I’d love to know how you handle sales calls va intro calls. There’s certainly nuance there and I’d love to hear your approach. 😊
It’s so real! A lot of people don’t realise it takes that long, but the rejection and/or slog gets easier if you know what you might be in for. And thanks! I’m popping it on the line up for a future post 🥰
Thank you so much for providing a peek behind the curtain here, Anna! Found this super helpful, bookmarked, and already shared with two friends who'd also find this valuable. Love your content!
I think I speak for everyone who reads this post when I say that we need more information on the Kit-Kat guy.
😂😂😂 twas the weirdest ending to a date I’ve ever been on! I actually can’t remember his name but do remember he worked in ecommerce somewhere 😂😂
I’m interested in hearing more about your sales call process!
Good to know!! I’ll definitely pop it on the line up
I took a lot of notes from this post. Super valuable content. Thank you so much for posting it Anna.
You’re so welcome! What resonated most?
Great content. And like the others, I'd love to learn more about your sales process.
Thanks Noel! Stay tuned 👀
Great content in this one! I've never tried to be good at sales, so this was pretty eye-opening for me. I'd love more sales content like this!
