Anna! Thank you SO much for this. I'm grateful for how you share authentic and actionable takes on what it's like to plow ahead and move past all the very normal gack that gets in the way.
I've been thinking about more specifically plotting out my hours in the day but feared that could be a little crazy / stressful / self-micro-managey. But your point about how this reduces friction and propels you into action - !! That's just what I needed to hear this week.
Give it a go! I only have been able to design this Operating System and my perfect working week because I've experimented with lots of different systems, calendars, workflows etc. Plot your days, stick to it for a few weeks, see how it feels. If it doesn't work for you then run another experiment! Eventually you'll figure out what works best for your body and brain 🫶🏼
We are syncing! I just finished creating a template for yoga teachers as a freebie today. What a great advice: make action inevitable. I will keep this with me. :)
I've been thinking a lot about why 78% of women-owned businesses struggle to breakthrough £50k turnover (because nobody's going to convince me that a business goal for female founders is to limit themselves in this way). Analysing my work with female founders plus reading widely, I've identified 'structure' as a missing piece in the jigsaw. Which is why your Notion system sounds genius! It puts structure around a myriad set of often complex tasks which can feel overwhelming and breaks it down into clear, actionable chunks. Which is why 2024 has been such a fab year for you and it's been such a delight reading about the momentum you've been building.
Thanks Denyse, I really appreciate those kind words. I’m pretty proud of my Notion OS, and it’s 100% the thing that’s enabled my progress/success/momentum this year.
This was really helpful. I'm thinking of ways I can implement templates into my life. And how I can simplify my processes.
I gravitate towards action too. For example if I want to start a new project and can't think of a good name, I usually go with the best I can think of and tell myself I can change it later.
Love this! Action is definitely gonna be one of my 3 Words for 2025.
You’re going to have a good year then, I can feel it!
Such great advice. Time to action is definitely my Achilles heel - something I’m turning around and appreciate these tips so much 🙌🏻
I think it’s many peoples’ Achilles heel. It’s hard but definitely a skill that can be learned!
Loving this framework. The daily dashboard looks auper useful. Is it built in notion?
Sure is! You can see in more detail here:

Brilliant idea! Experimentation mindset, here I come ☺️
Must avoid The Cavern of Time…! -Runs, leaps, and…-
At all costs!

Nice!

I ate this post up! Came at a perfect time for me since I'm just getting started creating. Thanks for sharing your insight and experience!
You’re welcome! It’s a good time of year to start a reset, so you’re fresh heading into 2025 🫶🏼

Love how the system looks like, and love the explanations too! Thank you very much for sharing, I hope it would sell a lot.
Me too! hehe
