#2 - I love seeing how a single idea can create a ripple effect that shifts everything. One of the biggest mindset shifts for me (and for so many creatives I work with) is that structure doesn’t limit creativity—it amplifies it. When we build systems that work for us instead of against us, we free up space for the ideas that truly matter.
#3 - Thanks for sharing all of these nuggets with us!
The ripple effect of a single idea is huge. This is actually what inspired me to stop hoarding my words and start writing - I’d experienced the power of reading the perfect idea expressed in just the right way first hand, and I really felt that I could do the same for others 🫶🏼
I love your list, thank you for sharing these nuggets of wisdom. And I enjoyed listening to your voice note - that resonated so much! We get to challenge the story we're holding on to. We get to look at the evidence of why we're still holding on to it, and we get to bring self-compassion to this. And we get to give ourselves room to manoeuvre when we reframe and take action (so important this last bit). Fantastic essay! 💚😌✨
#14. All of this resonates. I just shared some of my own musings on embracing the full spectrum of our emotions. Sometimes, going through all of the feels is one way to “knowing”.
Oo yes, #8 is a good one. Excellence doesn't equal perfection, and you can strive for excellence without the burden of having to be perfect. It's a fine balance but I feel like once I understood this deeply, it was quite freeing.
#1 - This list! It's so good!
