A little note from me to you
Thank you for everything this year <3
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be spending the next six days (also known as “the dead zone”) doing a whole lotta nothing:
Sipping on glasses of Prosecco so bubbly that they make my nose itch
Starting (but not finishing) a whodunnit novel
Building my new Vincent Van Gogh lego set
Commencing a long-awaited and long-procrastinated craft project that may or may not include adhesive hooks, 4m of fabric, a sewing kit and frustration
Buying at least 4 new plants to replace the ones I accidentally killed this year because I was too busy listening to Taylor Swift’s back catalogue
Visiting my local Bunnings multiple times purely for the sausage sizzle (Aussies will get it)
Fighting my neighbours for the sun lounges next to our rooftop pool (it’s war)
Clearing out the unused apps on my phone
Reorganising my closet and wondering whether I should chuck out the kinda cool dress that I haven’t worn in 5+ years
Plotting my 2026 rebrand
Catching up on the millions of bookmarked articles and essays that I haven’t got round to reading
Feeling immense gratitude for the life and community I’m building
